Ppb-Level NO2 Sensor with High Selectivity Fabricated by Flower-like Au-Loaded In2O3

With increasingly serious environmental problems caused by the improvement in people’s living standards, number of cars has increased sharply recent years, which directly leads to continuous increase concentration NO2 air. is a common toxic and irritant gas, harmful both human body environment. Therefore, this research focuses on detection committed developing high-performance, low limit sensors. In study, flower-like Au-loaded In2O3 was successfully fabricated using hydrothermal method wet impregnation method. The morphological features chemical compositions as-prepared samples were characterized SEM, TEM, XRD XPS. A variety sensors gas-sensing properties investigated. results indicate that sensor based 0.5 mol% Au/In2O3 shows response value 1624 1 ppm at 100 °C, 14 times pure In2O3. Meanwhile, for 10 ppb, 10.4. addition, also high selectivity among CO, CO2, H2, CH4, NH3, SO2 H2S. Finally, sensitization mechanism discussed, reasons improving performance analyzed. above analysis demonstrate attributes improved remarkably; same time, it been proved composite material extensive potential practical applications.
